Out-of-State Fee Waiver for Veterans and Other Eligible Students

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this new rule is to implement the provisions of section 1009.26 (13)(a), Florida Statutes, authorizing out-of-state fee waivers for veterans and others entitled to educational benefits provided by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. The statute was revised during the 2015 legislative session and the effect of this rule is alignment with the Veterans Access, Choice and Accountability Act of 2014.
