Standards for Mid-Year Promotion of Retained Third Graders

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this rule development is to provide districts with guidance for mid-year promotion of retained third graders who scored level 1 on the end of year assessment, who during the retained year, demonstrate proficiency of third grade standards through the student portfolio.
