PURPOSE:

To better define the role this industry plays in assisting the Department in keeping our highways safe, to prepare the industry for future opportunities that include the administration of the behind the wheel (driving) exams, to ensure the industry is consistent in how the business is operated and to protect the safety and welfare of students who seek driving lessons.
