	The The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Six announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, August 29, 2013, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

PLACE:	Florida Memorial University, Alfred E. and Sadie B. Smith Dining Hall and Conference Center, 15800 NW 42 Ave., Miami Gardens, FL, 33054

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Six will conduct an Alternatives Public Workshop for the State Road (SR) 847/NW 47 Avenue Road Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study from NW 183 Street in Miami-Dade County to Premier Parkway in Broward County. This workshop is being held to present the results of the PD&E Study to date and to obtain input on the alternatives under consideration. The primary purpose of this project is to provide overall traffic operation improvements along the study corridor through the provision of intersection improvements, frontage road enhancements, roadway improvements and improvements at canal crossings.
