Fees: Application, Examination, Certification and Renewal

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the proposed amendment is to eliminate the differential in renewal fees between those individuals who are not local government employees and those who are in order to reduce the regulatory costs to small business and administrative costs to the State.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rule amendment reduces the requisite fee for the renewal of certification of those individuals who are not local government employees from $25 dollars per renewal to $5 per renewal.
