RULE:

6A-6.022

Required Instruction in Florida History and Government (Repealed)

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this rule revision is to repeal the rule as Sections 1003.42(2)(l) and 1003.42(2)(e), F.S., requires instruction in Florida history and in the elements of civil government.  Additionally, the content is included in the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards for Social Studies.  The effect is the elimination from the Florida Administrative Code a rule which is no longer necessary.

SUMMARY:

The rule is to be repealed.
