PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of the proposed rule amendment will be to repeal rules identified during the comprehensive rule review required by Executive Order 11-01 as duplicative, unnecessarily burdensome and no longer necessary.

SUMMARY:

The rulemaking authority for these rules no longer exists. The Coastal Energy Impact Program was transferred to the Department of Environmental Protection during the 2011 Legislative Session. The Administration Commission no longer has authority for implementation of the program.

Section 308, Coastal Zone Management Act of 1972, (P.L. 92-583) as amended by P.L. 94-370.
