PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of the proposed rules is to remove burdensome, unnecessary language, or language that is not statutorily mandated, to clarify technical language, to update reference manuals and other forms used by the Department, and to update the process for applying for, taking, reviewing, and challenging examinations with the Department or contracted vendors, as permitted by Section 455.217, F.S.
