PURPOSE:

The amendments to this rule are being made to re-organize the chapter and clarify the process for permitting the temporary closure of state roads.

SUBJECT:

These amendments address the procedures local governments must follow in order to temporarily close state roads for special events. Filming on state roads is also addressed. A new rule is being promulgated to set forth criteria for filming and special events on limited access facilities.
