RULE:

68A-27.001

Definitions

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the proposed rule is to address the concerns raised by the Joint Administrative Procedures Committee. The effect will be to amend definitions in Rule 68A-27.001, F.A.C., for consistency with the creation of a new, separate list of marine endangered and threatened species in Rule 68A-27.0031, F.A.C., which is being created under a separate rule proposal.

SUMMARY:

The proposed amendments revise the definitions for the following terms: Florida Endangered and Threatened Species, Federally-designated Endangered and Threatened Species, and State-designated Threatened Species. These changes are for consistency with other proposed revisions to Chapter 68A-27, F.A.C.
