6A-3.003

Certification as to Specifications of School Buses

PURPOSE:

To update references to the Florida School Bus Specifications, effective January 1, 2026, and to the National School Transportation Specifications and Procedures, May 2025 edition. Periodic updates to this rule are necessary to ensure school bus specifications reflect the latest technologies associated with school buses, including electric school bus technologies.

SUMMARY:

This amendment will update references in this rule to the latest edition of the Florida School Bus Specifications, effective January 1, 2026, and to the latest edition of the National School Transportation Specifications and Procedures, May 2025.
