Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Virtual/Online and phone-in: Thursday, July 8, 2021 (Options 1 and 2) at 5:45 p.m. In-Person: Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; The Alternate in-person date is Thursday, July 27, 2021 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

PLACE:	Option 1:Virtual/Online via a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Option 2: By telephone (in listen-only mode). Call 1- (631) 992-3221 and enter audio access code 299-608-758. Option 3: In-Person Open House at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Sunrise-Sawgrass Mills, Seminole Ballroom, located at 13400 West Sunrise Boulevard, Sunrise, FL 33323. If the in-person meeting cannot be held due to inclement weather, the meeting will be held on the alternate date of July 27, 2021 at the same time and location.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE), will hold Public Information Meetings on Thursday, July 8, 2021 and Thursday, July 15, 2021 for the design of Atlantic Boulevard Interchange Improvements at Sawgrass Expressway (SR 869) in Broward County (Financial Project Identification Number 443956-1). These meetings are being conducted to give interested persons an opportunity to learn about the project and to express their views concerning the project. The Department will provide several options to participate in the Public Meeting. You may participate virtually/online via a computer, tablet, smartphone, or by telephone in listen-only mode on July 8, 2021. Virtual/online and telephone attendees will participate in the same live virtual Public Kickoff Open House. Alternatively, you may participate in person at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Sunrise-Sawgrass Mills, Seminole Ballroom, located at 13400 West Sunrise Boulevard, Sunrise, FL 33323 on July 15, 2021. Visit the project website, www.FloridasTurnpike.com/Sawgrass-Atlantic/ to register and select your participation option. Please note that registration works best in the Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox web browser. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email that includes instructions on how to join the virtual Public Meeting online. Participants may also join the virtual Public Meeting in listen-only mode by calling 1-631-992-3221 and entering the access code 299-608-758. You should not attend in-person if you are not feeling well. Social Distancing guidelines and local ordinances will be followed. If you wish to participate in the in-person Public Meeting, the Department requests advance registration to help ensure attendees are accommodated safely in accordance with current social distancing guidelines.
